Zionist newspaper: Israeli army prepares for limited attack on Hezbollah in Lebanon
The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the Israeli army is preparing for a “limited” attack on Hezbollah in Lebanon, as border tensions between the two sides have escalated.
The report notes Hezbollah’s return to some border areas in southern Lebanon after last year’s attacks and emphasizes that the Israeli military believes that “the Lebanese army will not be able to disarm Hezbollah.”
According to Tel Aviv’s assessments, Hezbollah still has tens of thousands of missiles and has produced thousands of new drones since the end of last year’s attacks.
These developments have increased Israeli concerns about Hezbollah’s rebuilding of military power and may lead to an escalation of the conflict.
This report comes as Israeli sources announce preparations for limited air operations in areas such as the Bekaa Valley and Beirut.
