The national under-17 futsal team, the newly crowned champions of the 2025 Asian Games, arrived at Kabul Airport today and was warmly welcomed by sports officials and officials of the Islamic Emirate.
These youngsters won Afghanistan’s first futsal gold medal with a historic 2-1 victory over Iran in the final of the Asian Youth Games.
It is worth noting that they had previously defeated Thailand in the semi-finals with a decisive score of 9-1.
