Russian Embassy calls video of Putin’s threat against Pakistan fake

The Russian embassy in Pakistan has declared a video claiming that President Vladimir Putin threatened Islamabad following the recent tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan to be completely fake.

The embassy emphasized in an official press release that Russia supports resolving disputes between Kabul and Islamabad through political and diplomatic means and called for the resumption of constructive dialogue between the two countries, especially in the field of combating terrorism and ensuring regional security.

The release of the fake video comes as border and security tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan have escalated since the failure of the Istanbul talks, with both sides accusing each other of supporting terrorist groups.

The Russian embassy warned that such fake content could lead to increased mistrust and disruption of regional peace efforts
