Iranian oil exports to Afghanistan via railway for the first time

In a historic event for Iran-Afghanistan trade relations, oil exports from Iran to the country began for the first time via rail.

Alireza Bekdali, the head of the Iranian embassy in Kabul, called this step an important event in expanding economic and trade cooperation between Kabul and Tehran, and emphasized that using the railway will make the transport of goods faster, cheaper, and safer.

Experts believe that this initiative could increase bilateral economic exchanges, reduce transportation costs, and strengthen trade infrastructure between the two countries.

This measure is a new step in strengthening economic ties between Iran and Afghanistan.
