MoUs worth $360 million signed between Afghan and Kazakh companies in Shymkent
The Ministry of Industry and Trade announced that on the sidelines of the Afghan-Kazakh Business Forum in Shymkent, Kazakhstan, memorandums of understanding worth more than $360 million were signed between 15 Afghan and Kazakh companies.
According to the ministry’s press release, Kazakh officials welcomed the presence of the Afghan delegation and emphasized the expansion of economic relations, transport development, and facilitation of trade between the two countries.
These memorandums of understanding will pave the way for increasing the export of Afghanistan’s agricultural, mineral, and industrial products to the markets of Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries.
