At least 29 people were killed and 42 others injured after a fuel tanker overturned and exploded in Niger State, central Nigeria.
According to local media, the accident occurred on a busy road and the fuel tanker overturned, causing a massive fire that spread quickly.
Rescue forces were immediately dispatched to the scene and the injured were transported to nearby hospitals.
Local authorities have attributed the accident to technical failure and excessive speed.
