40 killed, 170 wounded in Pakistani airstrikes on Spin Boldak

At least 40 people, mostly women and children, were killed and 170 wounded in Pakistani airstrikes on residential areas of Spin Boldak.

Local officials reported that civilian homes were targeted and heavy casualties and property damage were caused.

“Karimullah Zubair Agha, the head of public health in Spin Boldak, announced that civilian casualties are very high and yesterday’s bombing increased the number; now we have 40 martyrs and 170 wounded.”

There are reports of severe damage to the Nukali areas of Haji Hassan Keli Wardak, Kuchian Shorabak and Shahid due to artillery shelling by Pakistani forces.
