The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, handed over two more bodies of Israeli prisoners to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Gaza City last night.
According to Al Jazeera, this action was taken within the framework of the prisoner exchange and ceasefire agreement.
Hamas stressed in a statement: “We have adhered to all our commitments in the prisoner exchange and ceasefire agreement.”
This handover is a new step in the implementation of recent agreements between the parties and could help advance peace negotiations
