In one of the largest protests against the Gaza war in Germany, more than 60,000 people gathered in central Berlin on Saturday (September 27, 2025) and demanded an immediate halt to Israeli attacks and an arms embargo against Tel Aviv.
The organizers of the march, which was accompanied by slogans of “Free Palestine” and high international solidarity, estimated the number of participants at more than 100,000, but Berlin police put the figure at around 60,000.
The demonstration, titled “All Eyes on Gaza” and “Zusammen für Gaza,” began at Alexanderplatz and continued to the Siegessäule.
The participants, who appeared mainly with Palestinian flags and red clothes symbolizing the red line against genocide, emphasized banners with slogans such as “Food and water are human rights” and “Germany is complicit in the genocide in Gaza.”
