Trump presents 21-point plan to end Gaza war

US President Donald Trump has presented a comprehensive 21-point plan to end the Gaza war to leaders of Arab and Islamic countries.

The plan was raised during Trump’s meeting with leaders of nine Islamic countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Indonesia and Pakistan, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.

According to Al-Arabiya and diplomatic sources, the plan includes an immediate end to the war, the release of all Israeli hostages, the gradual withdrawal of Israeli military forces from the Gaza Strip, and the sending of humanitarian aid through international organizations.

Also highlighted is the proposal to establish a civilian governance mechanism in Gaza with the participation of moderate Arab countries and the Palestinian Authority, guaranteeing the non-occupation of Gaza, and financing reconstruction by Arab and Muslim countries.

Participating leaders have welcomed the plan and are hopeful for progress in the coming days, although full details of the 21 articles have not yet been made public.
