Venezuela’s readiness to confront US threats in the Caribbean

Recent reports indicate rising tensions in the Caribbean region, where Venezuela is mobilizing its civilian and military forces to counter what it calls military threats from the United States.

According to information, Venezuelan citizens from different segments of society, including youth, students, workers, and retirees, are receiving armed and defensive training to join the popular militias.

It is estimated that more than 8 million people have joined this popular mobilization.

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has emphasized in recent speeches that his country will not fear confrontation in the event of a possible attack by the United States.

Maduro has described these movements as the greatest threat to the Americas in the last hundred years and has announced that he will declare an armed republic if necessary.

He also called on Venezuela’s armed and civilian forces to deploy at 284 battlefront points and demonstrate full readiness to defend the country’s sacred soil.
