Reuters reported that on Monday, massive demonstrations in support of the Palestinian people were held across Australia.
According to organizers, more than 350,000 people took to the streets in 40 different cities across the country to protest the situation in Gaza and express support for Palestine.
According to the Palestine Action group, about 50,000 people participated in Brisbane alone, while police estimated the number at around 10,000.
The demonstration, which was accompanied by anti-war slogans and calls for an immediate ceasefire, reflects widespread public support for the Palestinian people in Australia.
Local authorities have urged participants to adhere to protest rules, and there have been no reports of serious clashes so far.
This event is part of a global wave of protests in support of Palestine.
