US State Department Spokesperson Tommy Bruce Named Deputy Ambassador to the United Nations
US President Donald Trump announced on Saturday August 9 that he has nominated Tommy Bruce, the current spokesperson for the US State Department, as the country’s next deputy representative to the United Nations.
This news, which was first published by the Jerusalem Post on the social network X, represents a new choice in line with the Trump administration’s policies to strengthen America’s presence on the international stage.
“I am pleased to announce that I will nominate Tommy Bruce, a great patriot, television personality, and best-selling author, as the next Deputy United States Representative to the United Nations with the rank of Ambassador,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.
He added: “Tommy has served with distinction and delivered an outstanding performance as State Department spokesperson since the beginning of my second term; he will be a brilliant representative for our country at the United Nations.”
