Yesterday, London, the capital of England, witnessed a huge demonstration attended by hundreds of thousands of people in support of the people of Gaza and condemnation of the Zionist regime’s genocide.
This march, which is considered the 30th largest demonstration in the UK since the start of the war in Gaza on October 7, 2023, was held at the invitation of the “Palestinian Solidarity Campaign”, and the protesters called for an immediate end to the aggression, a boycott of the Zionist regime, and an end to arms exports to the regime.
The participants in the demonstration, which began in Victoria Square and continued towards Whitehall Road, where the British Prime Minister’s Office is located, held Palestinian flags and placards with slogans such as “Stop the genocide” and “Free Palestine,” expressing their anger at the British government’s policies in support of the Zionist regime.
Ben Jamal, Secretary General of the Solidarity Campaign, described the demonstration as the largest solidarity movement in British history, saying, “We have been witnessing Israeli crimes in Gaza for two years and the world has united against this tragedy.”
