India to launch humanoid robot into space in December 2025
The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) announced that it will launch a spacecraft with a humanoid robot called “Vyumitra” into space in December 2025.
ISRO chief Vanyapuram Narayanan said the mission is part of three planned unmanned missions.
If this mission is successful, India will launch two more manned missions in 2026 to prepare for the launch of the Gaganyaan manned mission in 2027.
This step is considered a significant advancement in India’s space program.
