Iran, Russia and China hold trilateral meeting in Tehran on nuclear issues and Resolution 2231

According to informed sources, a trilateral meeting was held in Tehran on Tuesday, with the participation of diplomatic delegations from Iran, the Russian Federation, and the People’s Republic of China, hosted by the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

In this meeting, representatives of the three countries discussed the latest developments related to the nuclear negotiations, the lifting of illegal sanctions against Iran, and issues related to UN Security Council Resolution 2231.

The parties emphasized the firm commitment of their governments to continue close consultations to coordinate joint positions and actions.

It was also agreed that these talks would continue at various levels in the coming weeks.

On the sidelines of this meeting, the heads of the Russian and Chinese delegations met and discussed separately with the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Politics and the Director General of the Ministry of International Peace and Security.

This meeting was held to strengthen trilateral cooperation and diplomatic coordination to advance common goals in the field of nuclear issues and confront international pressures.
