The recent attacks by the Zionist regime on Damascus under the pretext of supporting the Druze community have been met with a wave of international condemnation around the world.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and UN Special Representative for Syria Geir Pedersen strongly condemned the attacks, calling them aggression.
Russia’s UN ambassador, Vassily Nebenzia, also called these actions unacceptable and called for them to stop.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated at the UN Security Council that the Zionist regime, in violation of international law, is advancing its strategy of aggression not only in Palestine but also in Lebanon, Syria, and Iran.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi also said in response to these attacks: “Unfortunately, this incident was completely predictable; the Zionist regime knows no boundaries and the world must unite to stop this aggression.”
These reactions reflect the widespread concern of the international community about the escalation of tensions and the violation of international law by the Zionist regime.
