World Food Program: A number of children in Gaza do not receive any food during the day
According to informed sources, the Deputy Executive Director of the World Food Program has announced that the situation in Gaza is extremely dire and some children in the area do not have any food to eat during the day.
He said: “We have never seen a situation like the current situation in Gaza.”
In response to the Israeli regime’s claims that Hamas controls food aid, the World Food Program official emphasized: “We have not seen any evidence in our areas of work that these claims are true.”
He added that the World Food Program is ready to expand its activities so that aid reaches all residents of Gaza, but this requires a ceasefire and the opening of all border ports.
He warned that all residents of Gaza suffer from severe food insecurity and are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance.
This news comes as the humanitarian crisis in Gaza deepens day by day and the international community is under pressure to find a lasting solution.
