Resumption of US military arms shipments to Ukraine
Reuters reported, citing informed sources, that the United States has resumed sending military weapons to Ukraine.
This decision was made after the administration of US President Donald Trump temporarily halted the delivery of some vital weapons to Kiev.
The new shipments include artillery shells and mobile artillery rockets that have been delivered to Ukraine in recent days, two US officials told Reuters.
This action is taken to support Ukraine in defending itself against Russian attacks.
Donald Trump also announced on Tuesday that the United States would send more military equipment to Ukraine so that the country can defend itself against Russian aggression.
However, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov considered this move to be contrary to efforts to peacefully resolve the Ukrainian conflict and assessed it negatively.
These developments come as Ukraine continues to face military challenges from Russia and is in urgent need of air defense systems and advanced weaponry
