Netanyahu in the shadow of disappointment and regret over the current situation in the Nir Oz region

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was confronted with heartbreaking scenes of widespread destruction during his recent visit to Kibbutz Nir Oz alongside his wife Sara.

During the visit, which took place before his trip to the United States, he met with the survivors of the released hostages and families who are still fighting for their survival.

In statements that tinged with despair and regret, Netanyahu spoke of his deep commitment to returning all hostages, emphasizing: “We will return them all.”

He also promised that the reconstruction of Nir Oz would be carried out quickly and without bureaucratic obstacles so that life would return to the area.

These remarks come at a time when recent news sources and polls indicate a decline in Netanyahu’s popularity and increasing domestic pressure against him.

Some analysts believe that these statements and visits are an attempt to compensate for his recent political and military failures, while public opinion in Israel is feeling disappointed with his management of the current crises.
