The imminent destruction of Israeli fighter jets by Yemen’s advanced defenses
Yemeni military sources announced that the country’s air defenses, in a successful operation last night, fired surface-to-air missiles and forced several Israeli fighter jets that were attempting to violate Yemeni airspace to retreat.
The clash took place in the skies of Hodeidah province and over the Red Sea and lasted for more than half an hour.
According to Al-Mayadeen Network, informed Yemeni military sources emphasized that the country’s air defense systems responded quickly and effectively and expelled the Israeli regime’s fighter jets from Yemeni airspace before they could carry out any offensive operations.
The sources added that Yemen’s advanced defense technology demonstrated the ability to intercept and counter modern fighter jets.
Meanwhile, the Israeli military admitted in an unexpected statement: “We did not expect the Yemenis to achieve this advanced level of defense; several of our fighters were on the verge of being destroyed.”
These statements, made by a senior Israeli military official, reflect Tel Aviv’s shock and surprise at Yemen’s defense capabilities.
