According to the Bakhtar News Agency, based on official statistics, the number of victims of the devastating flood in the US state of Texas has reached 80.
The flood, which caused extensive damage to infrastructure, especially roads, was one of the most severe natural disasters in recent times in the region; state officials have so far confirmed the death of 80 people in the disaster.
Meanwhile, the US National Weather Service has extended a flood warning for most of Texas, predicting heavy rain.
This warning indicates the possibility of continued critical conditions and increased damage in the coming days.
