The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) once again warned on Thursday morning (3th of July 2025) about the dire humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
The organization announced in a statement that about 85 percent of Gaza’s land is now under evacuation orders or in military zones.
According to Al Jazeera, the main water distribution center in the city of Khan Younis in southern Gaza has been inaccessible due to the evacuation order of the Israeli army, and any damage to the city’s water reservoir could lead to a complete collapse of the water distribution system.
The statement also said that the Israeli army’s evacuation orders are placing a heavy burden on Gaza’s vital services and pushing residents into smaller areas of the strip, making the humanitarian situation even more critical.
