Russia shot down dozens of Ukrainian drones
Russian officials announced that the country’s air defense systems had shot down dozens of Ukrainian drones in various areas.
Alexander Gusev, governor of the Voronezh region bordering Ukraine, reported in a Telegram message that more than 40 drones had been destroyed over urban areas and near the border.
The Russian Ministry of Defense also announced that it had shot down 22 drones in the Saratov, Samara, and Tatarstan regions in a 4-hour period, all on the banks of the Volga River and Belgorod.
