The imposition of show sanctions by Britain, Canada, Norway, New Zealand, and Australia on two extremist Israeli ministers was met with a US reaction.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio condemned the move on Wednesday morning, claiming that sanctions against Tel Aviv would not advance Washington’s efforts to end the Gaza war.
Rubio said the United States condemns the sanctions imposed by the governments of the United Kingdom, Canada, Norway, New Zealand and Australia against two current members of the Israeli cabinet.
These sanctions do not advance US efforts to achieve a ceasefire, return all hostages home, and end the war; we remind our partners not to forget who the real enemy is.
