A few days after an assassination attempt against an electoral candidate, the people of Colombia were confronted with several armed attacks and various explosions on Tuesday (June 11).
According to Al Jazeera, southwestern Colombia has witnessed a wave of explosions and armed attacks near police checkpoints, which have left at least four people dead, according to police reports.
The attacks appear to be coordinated and authorities blame rebel groups for them.
