The US State Department has authorized the sale of military equipment and aircraft worth $1.4 billion to the United Arab Emirates.
The proposed sale includes six CH-47F Chinook helicopters and associated equipment valued at $1.32 billion.
In addition, the US State Department also approved the sale of spare parts for F-16 fighter jets worth $130 million to the UAE.
