According to Rudaw, the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) announced the decisions of its conference, which included the dissolution of the party’s organizational structure and the end of the armed struggle, thus ending the activities carried out under the name of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

The Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) held a congress in Iraq from May 5-7 to discuss the decision to lay down arms following a call by the group’s leader, Abdullah Ocalan, for the group to disband and disarm.
