Officials of Ukraine and the United States started talks in Saudi Arabia on how to protect Ukraine’s energy facilities and critical infrastructure.
These consultations are part of US President Donald Trump’s diplomatic efforts to end the three-year war that began with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Talks between the delegations of the United States and Russia are scheduled to take place on Monday.
At the same time, Steve Witkoff, the special representative of the United States, expressed optimism about the negotiation process and emphasized that a real opportunity has been provided to end the deadliest conflict in Europe since World War II.
