Removing $1.7 trillion from the US stock market in one week

The technology sector was particularly affected, with Tesla shares falling 15%.

In total, technology companies – Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Alphabet, Amazon, Meta Platforms and Tesla lost a total of 1.7 trillion dollars during the working week.
