The meeting of the foreign and defense ministers of Türkiye, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon and Syria was held in Amman, the capital of Jordan, and after the meeting, they issued a joint statement.
In this statement, it is claimed that the security and stability of Syria is necessary for the security and stability of the region, and we condemn all initiatives and groups that target the security of the sovereignty and peace of Syria, and we support all the measures taken to strengthen public order and protect the stability of Syria and the security of the people.
In the continuation of this statement, it is also stated that we reject and condemn the Israeli regime’s encroachment on Syrian territory and their attempt to interfere in Syria’s internal affairs. This situation is a clear violation of international humanitarian law and law, an attack on Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and leads to an escalation of tension.
They also asked the international community to force Israel to guarantee the end of its violations and withdrawal from the occupied Syrian territories.
