The British news agency reported, citing sources, that the White House is considering plans for the possible cancellation of some sanctions against Russia.
In this regard, the English news agency “Reuters” wrote on Monday evening: “The White House has ordered the Department of State and Finance (US) to prepare a list of sanctions that can be reduced.”
American officials are expected to discuss this list with their Russian counterparts in the coming days as part of broader negotiations aimed at improving diplomatic and economic relations with Russia.
Sources familiar with the matter, who were not identified, told the news agency that the current proposal includes lifting sanctions on selected individuals and businesses.
