Trump fired the US Joint Chiefs of Staff

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has announced that he has dismissed General Charles Brown, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States Army, along with five generals and the commander of the Navy.

He said in a post on the social network “Truth” that Dan Razin Cain, the former general of the US Army, will introduce him as Mr. Brown’s successor.

Based on the Reuters report, the US Department of Defense or the Pentagon has said that Mr. Trump has also fired the head of the US Navy and will have a replacement for this position.

This news agency wrote that this decision of Donald Trump will start a period of chaos in the Pentagon; A department that is already bracing for massive layoffs of civilian staff, a dramatic budget overhaul and changes in military deployments under Trump’s new foreign policy.
