Reuters news agency reported that the US Treasury through the Central Bank of Iraq has banned five other banks of the country from doing transactions with dollars.
According to this report, the US Treasury has taken this action to prevent money laundering, smuggling of dollars and other violations.
These restrictions are applied while after Donald Trump took office, his government has suspended all foreign aid.
