The office of the President of Syria has announced that the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, has invited the head of the country’s interim government, Ahmad al-Shara (al-Jolani), to visit Paris in the coming weeks.
According to the Reuters report, in the statement of the Syrian President’s Office, which was broadcast on Wednesday, it is stated that Ahmad al-Shara received a letter from Emmanuel Macron in this regard.
In this statement, the two sides also discussed the economic sanctions imposed on the Syrian people in a phone call.
Meanwhile, after being introduced as the head of the interim government of Syria after the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government, Ahmed al-Shora has also made trips to Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
