Ilhan Omar, the Muslim representative of the American Congress, has emphasized that Elon Musk does not have the authority to dissolve the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
“That a billionaire could wake up one day and decide to stop international rescue programs is undemocratic and extremely dangerous,” he wrote in X.
This reaction was raised after Elon Musk, the head of the government efficiency department in Donald Trump’s administration, called USAID corrupt and demanded its dissolution.
