Trump, if the BRICS member countries introduce an alternative to the dollar, I will impose a 100% tariff

On Thursday, US President Donald Trump warned BRICS member countries that they will face a 100% tariff if they introduce an alternative to the US dollar as a reserve currency.

He added, do not try to create a BRICS currency and do not support any other currency to replace the dollar.

Any country that does so can bid farewell to trade in America’s wonderful economy.
