The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) says that on Thursday 30th of January) the forces of this command carried out an air strike in northwestern Syria, as a result of which Muhammad Salah al-Zubair, a senior member of the terrorist organization affiliated with Al-Qaeda, was killed.
Centcom said the attack was part of its commitment, along with regional partners, to disrupt and undermine terrorist efforts to plan, organize and execute attacks against civilians and the military forces of US allies and partners throughout the region and beyond. is
