Publication of the names of some Palestinian prisoners who are to be released in the first phase

The Ministry of Justice of the Israeli regime published the names of 753 Palestinian prisoners who are to be released in the first phase of the exchange of prisoners.

According to the agreement, 1,750 Palestinian prisoners are to be released in the first phase, 250 of whom have been sentenced to life imprisonment and 1,000 of whom have been arrested after October 7, 2023.

On the other hand, 33 Israeli prisoners will be released in the first stage.

The release of the rest of the Israeli prisoners will take place in the second phase, and negotiations regarding how to exchange them will resume after the first phase.

More than 10,300 Palestinian prisoners are held captive in Israeli prisons.

According to some speculations, there are about 100 Israeli prisoners with the resistance groups in Gaza, and it is not clear how many of them are alive and how many of them have been killed in Israeli attacks.
