. White House National Security Adviser John Kirby on Friday (27th of December) seriously repeated some speculations that the passenger plane of the Republic of Azerbaijan was shot down by the Russian air defense system.
Kirby claimed that preliminary evidence indicates that the plane that crashed in Kazakhstan was targeted by Russian air defense systems.
However, the Republic of Azerbaijan suspended the flights of its airlines to several Russian cities due to security reasons.
