Finland intercepts a ship linked to Moscow in the Baltic Sea

“Yari Liuko, the police commander of Helsinki, the capital of Finland, said that the country’s border guard entered the Eagle S ship early on Thursday (26th of December) and took control of it.

According to the Finnish authorities, this ship has stopped in Finnish waters.

While the Eagle S has the flag of the Cook Islands in Oceania, the authorities of Finland and the European Union consider it a part of the shadow fleet of Russian oil tankers.
