The tense situation in Syria after the burning of one of the Alawite shrines and anti-Jolani protests
These protests were formed after some members of Tahrir al-Sham set fire to one of the Alawite shrines in Syria, Abi Abdullah al-Hussein bin Hamdan al-Khasibi, the first authority of the Alawites of the world (260-358 AH) and killed 5 of its servants. They tortured and killed.
Following this insulting action, angry Alevis attacked Tartous province and also after the request of Alevi sheikhs to continue the protests and fight against the new ruler of Syria (Jolani) and the situation in al-Mazeh of Damascus is also out of security control and is changing moment by moment. The number of protesters is increasing.
In a statement, the custodians of Hazrat Zainab’s shrine called for respect for the sanctuaries and to preserve the peace of the people and emphasized that this action is a new sedition.
It should be mentioned that this is the first time in the history of Aleppo since 358 AH that shrines are burned.
