Mohammad Shia al-Sudani, the Prime Minister of Iraq, today we are following the events of our neighboring country, Syria. We all hope that all the countries of the region and the world will fulfill their responsibility to maintain the security and sovereignty of Syria.
The choice should be left to the Syrian people, and their free will should be respected along with the international responsibility to maintain unity and territorial integrity.
Terrorism entered Iraq through the borders and we defeated it with great sacrifices.
