Last Monday, 3th of December local time, John Kirby told reporters on the US presidential plane known as Air Force One after Hezbollah’s response to a series of deadly Israeli attacks across the country, that the ceasefire agreement has been in place for nearly a week. Lebanon has been largely respected.
The spokesperson and strategic communications coordinator of the White House National Security Council described the Israeli attacks as “scattered” since the implementation of this agreement and said that under the terms of the agreement, these attacks were “expected”.
