The new era of China-US relations in the midst of tensions
Chinese President Xi Jinping held a two-hour conversation with US President Joe Biden on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting in Peru on Saturday (17th of November).
This meeting is the first conversation between the two leaders after seven months of disconnection, and it was held in a situation where tensions between these two powerful countries have reached their peak, especially in Taiwan’s cyber business and relations with Russia.
According to a Reuters report, Xi Jinping emphasized in this meeting that China’s goal has always been to have healthy and stable relations with the United States and that it is ready to cooperate with the new American administration under the leadership of Donald Trump
