Germany offers a 1.5 billion dollar military aid package to Ukraine

German Chancellor Olaf Schulz said on Friday (11th of October) that we have committed to give a new package of military aid worth about 1.5 billion dollars to Ukraine.

Schultz emphasized that Germany is the largest military supporter of Ukraine in Europe and the second largest supporter of Kyiv in the world after the United States.

He emphasized Germany’s commitment to provide air defense capabilities as part of a new aid package that includes air defense systems, air defense tanks, armored vehicles, combat drones, artillery ammunition and radar with the support of Belgium, Denmark and Norway.
