The British Foreign Office announced in a statement that more than 250 British citizens have left Lebanon on flights booked by the British government.
The Foreign Office strongly advises all other British citizens who wish to leave the country to immediately register for the relevant flight or use commercial routes.
According to the report of the English publication “Guardian”, the British Foreign Minister added: “While we are trying day and night to strengthen our consular presence in Lebanon, my message to the British nationals there is clear, leave Lebanon now.”
