According to Axios, two Israeli and American officials told this news site that after the assassination of Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Lebanon’s Hezbollah, Israel asked the United States to prevent Iran’s possible action against the country.
These two sources say that Israel has asked America to take measures to prevent Iran from attacking Israel in response to its airstrike in Beirut, which assassinated a high-ranking Iranian military official in addition to Hassan Nasrallah.
