Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Jolie said she had spoken to Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Miqati after the Israeli attack on Beirut and stressed that there should be no war in the country.
Julie wrote on the X social network this morning, Saturday 7 Mizan, I spoke with Najib Mikati, there should not be a war in Lebanon.
He added: “Citizens must be protected and we need an immediate ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah.”
Jolie continued by announcing that the situation in Lebanon is still deteriorating, adding that Canadians should leave Lebanon now and we will help them to do so.
