Asim Malek appointed as new ISI chief
Pakistani media reported that General Asim Malik has been appointed as the new head of the military intelligence agency.
The ISI of this country has been appointed According to Dan newspaper, he will start his work on Monday of next week (30th of September).
General Asim Malik will replace Munir Anjum, who was appointed as the head of the ISI in 2021 by former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Asim Malik is currently the commander of the Pakistan Army in Rawalpindi.
Pakistani media have reported that General Asim Malik is a graduate of Fort Leavenworth University in the United States Royal College of Defense Studies, London.
He has worked in various departments of the Pakistan Army and has received the Sword of Honor.
